This post was inspired by Jia, a dear friend of mine who has a strange attraction to fish and loves mushy quotes as much as I do. So I thought, who better to quote and pay a small tribute to than the beloved Dr. Seuss, American poet and cartoonist, whose timeless lines and verses are still being recited today?
FUN Dr. Seuss Fact that I bet you didn’t know (and neither did I, until now):
Bennett Cerf, Dr. Seuss’ editor bet him that he couldn’t write a book using 50 words or less. Fortunately, Dr. Seuss accepted the challenge and came up with “Green Eggs and Ham,” which, yup… uses exactly 50 words. Count them. He also allegedly had an imaginary child named Chrysanthemum-Pearl.
